Hello! I am Kate Larson, an NYC based stitcher originally from Minnesota. I have a BFA in theatre technology from Otterbein University. For the past two years I’ve worked as a stitcher at Bethany Joy Costumes where Broadway credits include Maybe Happy Ending, The Great Gatsby, and Pirates of Penzance. In April 2025 I transitioned to the tailoring department where I trained in bespoke waistcoat and trouser making, working on productions such as Ragtime at Lincoln Center and Purple Rain. In addition, I’ve taken on freelance tailoring work altering vintage gowns, building tear away pants for drag queens, and making custom bridal veils. Outside of the theatre, I love reading, hammocking, hiking and anything else that will let me see the sunshine.
